Dedicate Shortwave by Cray

Initially recorded in 2014 using only the Buchla modular synthesizer in Kyneton, Australia.

This live improvised Buchla performance came about through my childhood love of listening to Shortwave Radio. In Australia we wouldn’t so much hear number stations it was more Indonesian Gamelan phasing in and out with alien like frequencies swooshing about. I would prefer to listen to shortwave over pop music as a child. It has made me the musician I am today.

Dedicate Shortwave appears now in 3 versions, all of same length with quite minimal differences. This is the enhanced 2021 version.
